About this qr code generator

QR codes connect print to digital: put one on a flyer, menu, business card, vehicle wrap or product package and people can open your website, join your Wi-Fi or call you with a single scan. This generator creates static QR codes, which store the content directly in the pattern — so they never expire and don't depend on any service staying online.

There's no sign-up, no scan tracking and no watermark. Choose the type of code, fill in the details, pick colors and download a PNG ready for print or the web.

How to use the QR Code Generator

  1. Choose what the QR code should do (website, Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS or text).
  2. Fill in the details.
  3. Adjust size and colors.
  4. Scan it with your phone to test, then download the PNG.

How QR codes store data

A QR code encodes text as a grid of black and white modules with built-in error correction, so it can still be read if partly damaged or dirty. This tool uses medium error correction (about 15% recovery). Wi-Fi codes use the standard WIFI: format that iPhone and Android cameras recognize.

Worked example

A Wi-Fi code for a network called Cafe-Guest with password coffee2026 stores WIFI:T:WPA;S:Cafe-Guest;P:coffee2026;;. Guests scan it and join without typing the password.

Tips for better results

  • Keep strong contrast — a dark code on a light background scans most reliably.
  • Print at least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 in); bigger for codes read from a distance.
  • Use short URLs; less data makes a simpler, easier-to-scan code.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They're static codes that contain your content directly, so they work forever.

Can I track scans?

Not with static codes. Tracking requires a dynamic code that redirects through a service.

Can I use the QR codes commercially?

Yes. The codes you create are yours to use on any product or marketing material.
